Thank you for your interest in becoming a UoB Telephone Fundraiser!
The deadline to submit your completed application is 9am Monday 11 December , at which point the form will close and no further applications will be considered. 20-30 minute phone/zoom interviews will take place on 13 and 14 December.
Please note, if you are a member of our Autumn telethon team, you need not re-apply for Spring.
About the role
As a Telephone Fundraiser, your role is to telephone Bristol graduates to inform them about what is currently happening at the University, answer any queries they may have, and ask for a charitable donation.
You will also be asked to record video messages to send to the individuals you talk to who decide to donate. This is handled entirely by the calling software you'll be using.
Campaign dates
The campaign will run from Saturday 3 February to Sunday 3 March 2024.
Callers are hired on an understanding that they attend two paid compulsory training days taking place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February on University Campus (more info on the exact building later).
All calls will take place remotely, and we ask you to work for the full duration of the campaign according to one of the following shift patterns:
- Rota A - Mondays and Wednesdays (5.45pm - 9pm), Saturdays (9.45am - 5pm, includes one hour break) Please note, there will be no calling on Wednesday 14 February; this session will take place on Thursday 15 February instead.
- Rota B - Tuesdays and Fridays (5.45pm - 9pm) Sundays (1.45pm - 8pm, includes one hour break)
